Does C Beyond provide any coverage?

C Beyond won’t add any coverage. The translucent formula has a small amount of sheer pigment to neutralize the white cast normally seen with mineral SPF. For more coverage, apply it as a base underneath your favorite ILIA complexion product.

Why are some of the ingredients encapsulated?

To preserve their potency and stability, Vitamin C, Niacinamide, and Non-Nano Zinc Oxide are enclosed in microcapsules that dissolve on contact with skin.

Can I use C Beyond Triple Serum SPF 40 with sunscreen?

C Beyond provides broad-spectrum sun protection on its own. However, if you’re sensitive to Vitamin C and don't want to reapply C Beyond every 2 hours for sun protection, you can use your favorite sunscreen for reapplication throughout the day.

How do I avoid pilling when applying C Beyond?

Shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds before dispensing; the formula contains a high volume of powders suspended in oil, so this step is essential for even application. DO NOT rub the formula, and allow it to fully absorb for at least 60 seconds.

How do I choose the best shade for my skin tone?

C Beyond’s three tones are designed to neutralize the white cast from mineral SPF, not add a tint to your skin. Choose the tone closest to your skin, or, if you’re in between tones, go with the lighter one.

The dispenser is so odd. you shake it up and nsquirt it out. Not the deal breaker for me. My issue is this stuff is so greasy. But I do like how it gives a nice sheer golden glow. A little bit of a bronzer look for those of us who will not be getting a real tan. I just don't like how oily my face looks. Sticking with Coola BB in Golden I guess.

I love Ilia products but this is runny and thin in a very small dispenser. It’s too small for the expense. The quality of the serum is excellent, but the amount is not enough bang for the buck. I’d look elsewhere for a good BB cream, but if you want something quality and don’t care about the quantity it’s a good.

I really have fallen in love with Ilia. Since I already own their Super Serum Skin Tint, True Skin Foundation and True Skin Serum Concealer, I wasn’t sure what purpose I’d have for this new product but I’m SO happy I got it. This is the perfect 1 step product; it takes care of skincare and gives that subtle all over evening effect of a barely there skin tint and leaves my skin looking fresh with a summer glow all while protecting it from the sun. It doesn’t melt off in 90° the way my skincare+moisturizer+foundation would. I have dry skin but sweat a lot during hot, muggy, Mississippi summers and this stuff is AWESOME.

I have mature 46 year old skin and I used this for the first time today and WOW I love it. It is light weight, adds a beautiful shine/glow and it doesn't feel like I am wear anything. I have been trying all different brands of foundation and powders and they enhancement my wrinkles and are heavy. I thought I'd give this a shot (even though it is more expensive then I prefer to spend) I am so glad I did. This will be a staple in my daily rotation.
