I like a good olive oil that I can not only cook with, but can also use for tasting/drizzling/dipping, but also that I don't feel guilty wasting by pouring into pasta water. This olive oil can handle the heat without smoking too soon, tastes great on its own (even though its not the tasting version they offer), and is a price I feel is reasonable to for an all-around olive oil. To top it off, the spout is such a convenience, and quality evoo doesn't usually come with such pain free way to pour as accurately as you'd like.

There for sure better olive oils out there, but for the price, this is pound for pound olive oil champ I plan to stick with for a while!

Used to buy Colavita until I found that half of it is faked now. I found this that taste great and is real olive oil at a great price. I actually keep one in reserve in case I need to add something to my amazon cart to get free shipping. Since amazon has got on the greed train and raised their free shipping to $25.00 from $35.00. I guess Jeff is trying to catch Elon!
UPDATE: I ordered a bottle of this 3 weeks ago and they put it on back order. Price was $13.99. Yesterday I noticed that amazon was selling it at $15.99 and overnight it jumped to $20.99. They have them in stock, so why haven't you shipped mine jeff? Although it is good oil, it's not that good. If I'm going to pay $21.00 for olive oil it will not be this brand, not for even $16.00 a bottle!

Some concerns about Graza Sizzle Olive Oil

I have some concerns regarding the Graza Sizzle 100% Olive Oil that I received a few days ago. Firstly, the oil came in a green plastic bottle which, according to their website, is made from post-consumer plastics. However, there is no mention of BPA, whether present or otherwise in the bottles. Secondly, I read somewhere that you can tell if an olive oil is 100% extra virgin by placing a sample in the refrigerator. If it clouds up and thickens, it is genuine. If it remains clear, however, it may have been mixed with older or lower-quality oils. I left a sample of my Graza Sizzle 100% Olive Oil in the refrigerator for four days, but it remained clear. Thirdly, there is no third-party certification seal on the bottle, which would be desireable since fraud in the olive oil industry is common.

While the taste of the oil is pleasant and non-greasy, I wanted to address my concerns with Graza directly. I found their email address buried in their FAQ page since there was no contact information directly indicated on their website page. However, when I sent an email to them, I received a message the following day stating that there was a temporary problem delivering my message and that I would be notified if delivery attempts after 47 more hours failed permanently. If I do hear back, I'll review again.

An update to my review, I wasn't able to reach the company through the email address given, but the oil did finally thicken in the refrigerator, confirming authenticity. I am enjoying the flavor and versatility of the oil in both cooked and raw dishes.

Am loving this sizzle olive oil. When I used the oil for the first time and turned on the burner and the oil began to heat I ooed and aahed, the smell brought me back many years ago (in the old days) when my mother was preparing our meals. I haven't smelled heated olive oil like this one in many years, for me it's nostalgic. This olive oil is the real thing and it's great for cooking. This was on sale when I purchased it and if Amazon keeps their price at this level ($13.99) I will continue to purchase it here. I'm not particularly in love with their special drizzle version, the taste is a bit sharp for me, my special drizzle oil for salads and dipping is Atlas oil, sold here on Amazon (smooth and velvety taste). Don't hesitate to pick up a bottle of the Graza sizzle oil, it's beautifully priced and the taste after sauteing and frying is delicious.
